Robert Pattinson, an American actor, is set to make an appearance on the beloved Korean reality show, Running Man.
He recently attended a press conference in CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall, Seoul for his upcoming movie Micky 17.
The cast of Running Man were also spotted in the area, which led fans to speculate if Pattinson would be appearing on the show.
A representative of the series quickly responded to the rumors, “Robert Pattinson is not appearing as an official guest. He happened to pass by the ‘Running Man’ filming location and made a brief appearance. The episode [featuring this moment] will air on February 9.”
The actor is currently in the middle of a promotional tour for his movie, which is a sci-fi flick. It is being directed by the mind behind the Oscar-winning film Parasite, Bong Joon Ho.
“A disposable employee is sent on a human expedition to colonize the ice world Niflheim. After one iteration dies, a new body is regenerated with most of his memories intact,” reads the synopsis.
Mickey 17 also stars veteran actor Mark Ruffalo, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette as well as Naomi Ackie. It is set to be released in cinemas in the United States on 7 March.
