Lindsay Lohan has shared insights into her bond with her one-year-old toddler.
During an interview with The View, she candidly shared her future parenting plans for her son Luai.
At the time, the Irish Wish star began by saying, “My son is, like, my life. Every morning, I take a picture of him when he wakes up.”
“I have too many pictures but I want to see how he changes every day. There’s just so much love. Everything he does is so exciting, every day, and I want to capture it every day.”
“Just wait til he turns 20,” the co-host, Whoopi Goldberg, chimed in.
Following this, Lohan recalled the Mean Girls dialogue, “There are no rules in this house, okay? I’m not like a regular mom. I’m a cool mom!” of Regina George’s mom, who is portrayed by Amy Poehler.
The Hollywood star received roaring applause from the audience when she responded by noting the iconic line, “Oh no, I’ll be nice, I’ll be nice. I’ll be a cool mom.”
Meanwhile, Lohan opened up about her break that she took from her work after becoming a mother and said, “Taking space away from the industry, I would say, is a big thing for me. I really needed to — I wanted to miss acting, I wanted to miss doing what I love to do.
Before concluding, she shared, “And I needed to find time to be me and start a life, meet my husband, have a kid, have a real life so there’s somewhere to have some balance with work and life.”
For those unversed, Lohan tied the knot with Bader Ebrahim Shammas in 2022 and the couple welcomed their son in 2023.
