Louis Tomlinson just broke social media silence after his close friend, Liam Payne’s funeral.
Last week, after the One Direction alum said goodbye to his former bandmate he came back to the eyes of his followers with some positive news.
Taking to his official Instagram account on Friday, via the Stories feature on the app, Tomlinson teased his fanbase with new music.
In the photo of his makeshift guitar capo made from a bright yellow pen, it could be assumed that he was busy writing lyrics and making tunes.
As he appeared to be busy in work, alongside the photo, the Walls singer simply wrote, “DIY.”
This comes after Tomlinson had previously revealed that he and the late Payne had plans to release new music together in the heart-wrenching tribute he paid to his brother after hearing of his passing last month.
“Liam was an incredible songwriter with a great sense of melody, we often spoke of getting back in the studio together to try and recreate the writing chemistry we had built up in the band,” he had further written in his Instagram post dedicated to the For You hitmaker.
“And for the record, Liam was in my opinion the most vital part of One Direction. His experience from a young age, his perfect pitch, his stage presence, his gift for writing. The list goes on. Thank you for shaping us Liam,” Louis Tomlinson concluded.
