The Little Mix member, Jade Thirlwall, has broken her silence about dating Harry Styles.
In a recent episode of The Louis Theroux Podcast, the songstress candidly talked about when she met with Styles on a reality competition show.
Recalling when she auditioned for X Factors in 2010, she began by saying, “We were like 16 or something.”
Moreover, Thirlwall shared that she dated Styles after he formed the band, One Direction, with Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan.
“And then the minute they went on live shows, he didn’t message me back,” the 32-year-old singer added. “I thought, ‘That’s it now. He’s gone. He’s made it.'”
Moreover, she mentioned that he apologized for ignoring her and said, “I saw him… and he was like, ‘I’m really sorry that I ignored you.'”
“He ghosted you,” the host said.
“I was so young. It didn’t really matter.” Thirlwall lauded, “He gotten himself where he is because he’s very talented.”
Reflecting upon the death of One Direction‘s member, Payne, who died at the age of 31 after falling from a third-floor hotel balcony, the Power singer said, “It can be really lonely.”
“When you are that huge because you know, none of those boys could just go out and do whatever they wanted. Being stuck in hotel rooms and having nothing to do.”
“So, I think it all makes sense that being in a boy band can contribute to being in a dark place, for sure,” she concluded.
