Emily Blunt hints at the sequel to famous The Devil Wears Prada.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Blunt, who played Emily in the 2006 film, revealed htat the sequel to Anne Hathaway led comedy might be in works.
The Wild Mountain Thyme actress said, “There (are) rumblings,” adding, “There is stuff churning around.”
However, Blunt did not share any details, saying, “But I don’t know if I can confirm anything. But we would all be delighted.”
It is worth mentioning that this comes after Blunt’s former costar Stanley Tucci talks about the sequel.
Tucci, who played the role of Nigel, told PEOPLE magazine, “If it does happen, I can only say that I’ll be happy. I don’t really know. I haven’t [heard] about the plot or anything. I really haven’t.”
On the other hand, Deadline reported in July that producer Wendy Finerman and director David Frankel, who worked on the original The Devil Wears Prada film, are in talks for the sequel.
Alongside Blunt, Hathaway and Tucci, the film also stars legendary Meryl Streep.
