Buckingham Palace released a statement after Prince Harry revealed that he has no intention of leaving the US, where he resides with his wife Meghan Markle and kids.
Speaking at The New York Times DealBook Summit, Harry, the Duke of Sussex, made a shocking confession about his return to the UK.
The Prince noted that he “much enjoy living” in California where his kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are “able to do things” that they would not be able to do in UK.
“I very much enjoy living here and bringing up my kids here,” Harry said of his life in America. “It’s a part of my life that I never thought that I was gonna live.”
“I feel as though it’s the life that my mom wanted for me,” Harry added. “To be able to do the things I’m able to do with my kids that I undoubtedly wouldn’t be able to do in the U.K. — it’s huge.”
Following this, the palace shared a statement about King Charles’ recent engagement, seemingly showing that the monarch is unfazed about Harry’s admission.
They posted details of the King meeting with the staff, aid workers, and volunteers from the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) at St Peter’s Church to discuss their tireless efforts in supporting humanitarian causes worldwide.
“Thank you to all the hardworking team at @DisastersEmergencyCommittee (DEC) who work tirelessly to support humanitarian causes around the world,” their captioned read.
It added, “Earlier today at St Peter’s Church, The King met staff, aid workers and volunteers, who have supported the Middle East and Ukraine humanitarian appeals.”
