Ryan Gosling might just be appearing in the upcoming Star Wars movie after his wildly popular roe as Ken in the 2024 movie, Barbie.
As per The Hollywood Reporter, he is currently in negotiation to star in the franchise’s untitled movie that Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy would direct.
Levy has also been working for the Star Wars series for more than two years, as well as co-writing it with Jonathan Tropper, took on the role in July 2024.
This is also not the first time the duo has worked together with previously having worked on This Is Where I Leave You and The Adam Project.
Even though it is unclear what the film would be about but sources have revealed to THR that it would be a standalone movie.
Reportedly, if Ryan Gosling agrees to the project, it could change Levy’s plans of creating a boy band movie starring the Deadpool & Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, with the director then prioritizing the Star Wars movie.
