Kanye West is known for his quirky ideas. DROAM, a concept he called his self-style city, is one of them.
For the past few years, he has been teasing the idea of building a city in the Middle East.
Now, Ye has again sparked speculation about his ambitious vision by sharing a post on Instagram.
In the photo, a mysterious man and a woman were featured in a white, empty space.
It’s unclear what the post meant, but in the caption, Ye wrote several ideas he believed to include in his DROAM city.
The Power hitmaker planned to execute his ambitious idea in Los Angeles earlier. But his North Beverly Park neigbhours called out his plans, calling it “delusional,” TMZ reported.
Following this, the 47-year-old reportedly shifted his focus to the Middle East to build his megacity.
“YZY DROAM PHASE 1 100,000 ACRE V1 CITY PILOTING IN MIDDLE EAST RECRUITING,” he tweeted in 2023.
Engineering, architecture, project management, and construction were the applications Ye was looking for in his city, as per his recruitment notice.
Not to mention, Kanye also touted the city as self-sufficient and was said to span an area four times the size of Paris.
