Will Ferrell is a well-known comedian, and his son, Magnus, has returned home to pursue his music career.
The 21-year-old, previously majoring in acting at the University of Southern California, told People, “I love my family so much. That sounds so bad. I love hanging out with them, but I think that’s part of it. I get to live at home. I get to have home-cooked meals.”
He continued, “But I also have to do things you got to do when you live at home,” noting, “I mean, you got to help run the house. It’s like you have to.”
Elsewhere on the internet, Magnus also looked back at the time he told his parents about leaving college to pursue a music career. But he added that a deal from the record label smoothed things out.
“They saw it [the deal] in writing and saw that it was kind of an official thing — it wasn’t just me being like, ‘Okay, I’m going to go and sit in my basement and make songs and hope something happens.’”
“It was a material thing that I had interest in that I could really show them. And then they were like, ‘Oh, there’s a job offer.’ So it worked out,” he added.
Will shares three kids with his wife, Viveca Paulin. Magnus is the eldest of them.
