Walton Goggin’s wife, Nadia Conners, has finally addressed the speculations about her husband’s relationship with his The White Lotus co-star, Aimee Lou Wood.
Speaking to Hello! Magazine on Friday, the director, who tied the knot with the actor in 2011, said she attributes the controversy to being part of Walton’s job as an actor.
“It’s odd to see it, but it’s an indication of how much people were invested in the fictional characters,” she said.
“I take it as a sign that he’s become quite popular,” added Nadia, who shares a 14-year-old son, Augustus, with Walton.
For those unversed, Rumors of Walton and Aimee’s relationship first sparked earlier this year when the Fallout star compared their offscreen bond to their characters.
“We both became enmeshed in each other the way that Rick and Chelsea are,” he said People magazine in February. “So I think the world of her.”
Aimee played Walton’s girlfriend in season 3 of The White Lotus.
