Tina Knowles, mother of the global music icon Beyonce, recently discussed her eldest granddaughter, Blue Ivy.
In a new chat with Extra, Tina had a detailed chat about her grandchildren and shared that she wanted Blue Ivy to opt for a career which is not related to the entertainment industry.
This statement is contrary to previous reports which established that Beyonce and Jay- Z have been preparing their daughter to step into the music industry.
Nonetheless, she acknowledged that the 13-year-old’s musical talents and weighed in on how special it was to see Blue Ivy blossom with each performance.
“It’s the best, because at the end of the day, the most important bonus of that is I just see the confidence just growing every day,” Tina began.
Mentioning Blue Ivy’s high physique, she added, “Blue is tall, she’s like 5’9”, and she’s 13 years old…and I would always say, ‘Stand tall because your grandma always wanted to be tall.’ “
“And she would still kind of slump a little bit, and now we got the model pose and she is strutting and she is confident and that’s the most important thing to me,” Tina confessed before moving to a different topic.
