Sophia Bush reportedly battled abuse for years on the set of an unnamed TV series, which had been on her “bucket list.”
As per the latest findings of Daily Mail, Sophia made a shocking revelation on Tuesday’s episode of Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky alleging physical abuse at the hands of someone who was the same age as her father.
She began narrating the incident by saying, “I had a workplace, ongoing trauma revolving around an unending situation with someone old enough to be my father and I was like what is happening?”
Sophia went on to address, “When I look back at it, I had the opportunity after two years to go. I did the thing I learned to do.”
“And said, ‘I will not have my integrity diminished by someone else’s behavior. I will be unflappable. I will come to work and do my job.’ And I couldn’t,” she continued.
In addition to this, she shared that she would suffer spontaneous illness, hives, hair loss, crippling anxiety, insomnia, and “really crazy weight fluctuation” in the following two years, which she described as “physical hell.”
“As an extrovert who loves people, to be hit with anxiety in such a way that I could barely be out of the house – if people touched me in public, I would jump out of my skin,” she remarked in conclusion elaborating on the mental toll that abuse took on her.
