Apple TV+ hit drama Slow Horses has announced that season five will be released on September 24.
According to TVLine, season four was released less than a year ago. Moreover, the logline of season five reads, “Everyone is suspicious when resident tech nerd Roddy Ho has a glamorous new girlfriend.”
“But when a series of increasingly bizarre events occur across the city, it falls to the Slow Horses to work out how everything is connected. After all, Lamb knows that in the world of espionage, the London Rules — cover your back — always apply.”
Since its release in 2022, Slow Horses has become a hit show, earning critical acclaim and many laurels.
Earlier, the series’ editor, Robert Frost, said they had to cut some good scenes to maintain the show’s momentum.
“Sadly it does mean that sometimes we have to lose some of them to keep the plot rolling forward,” he told Reach.
“There are some amazing jokes I had to pull out, but it’s all for the greater good – less is more! We also had a scene where Louisa calls River’s mum, who you only hear on the phone.”
Robert even shared one such scene, “We did actually shoot a scene with the mother but felt it was best to leave her mysterious for now.”
Slow Horses’ first two episodes will stream on AppleTV+ on Sept 24.
