The 29-year-old actor distanced himself from the glitz and glamour of the Met Gala despite his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, attending the star-studded event.
Timothee missed the biggest fashion event to watch the New York Knicks game from home.
On Monday, the Wonka star took to her Instagram Stories and shared photos of himself watching the Knicks face off against the Boston Celtics in the NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals Game 1 on an iPad.
In another selfie, Timothee can be seen with his friends.
The post came in just moments before Kylie ascended the Met steps wearing a unique black-and-grey tailored gown.
For those unversed, Timothee and Kylie began dating in April 2023.
