Prince William and Kate Middleton are aiming for a positive approach with their philanthropy.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’ modern approach to monarchy is helping them harness power in its true sense.
“This is not just grant giving,” a royal source said.
“It is about using the convening power that the Prince and Princess have, which is uniquely in the power of the Royal Family to bring people together to provide real impact to the communities”.
This comes as Prince William spoke about modernity in monarchy, adding that he is aiming to foster an environment that makes lives better and approach with “a smaller R in the royal”
“It’s more about impact philanthropy, collaboration, convening, and helping people,” he said, adding of Kate’a work that “centres around those values of trying to help deliver change and make those lives better”.
