Prince Harry interview ‘done in hurry’ after security loss?

Prince Harry’s explosive interview was his own decision?

Prince Harry has sparked intense criticism following his bombshell BBC interview.

The Duke of Sussex made shocking claims in the interview which has reportedly deepened his rift with the royal family. It is worth mentioning that Harry’s interview came just hours after he lost his security battle.

Now, royal experts have shared their views on the explosive interview during the latest episode of Palace Confidential.

Royal editor Rebecca English called Harry’s interview “really very disturbing” adding, “He effectively said that he believed there were people who actively wished him harm and he felt those people would see what happened as ‘a win’, as he described it.”

“Where Harry goes from here, I don’t know. He has obviously had a monumental hissy fit on television afterwards, to put it mildly,” she added.

Meanwhile, the editor and host Jo Elvin noted, “In the interview, Harry just seemed beyond furious.”

Agreeing with Jo, Richard Eden added, “I am going to have to be careful with how I phrase this but I thought he didn’t look well in his expression, his demeanour.”

“Often if you are angry about something, people say you should sleep on it but this seemed to be something, and I think the BBC would confirm that it was done in a hurry,” he said.

He went on to share that the interview was not demanded by people, but Harry himself made the decision. Revealing that the Duke of Sussex’s representative reached out for the interview, Richard said, “It was very much his decision and I think a very rash one,” adding, “He said a series of very unpleasant, provocative and dark, disturbing things, frankly.”

Additionally, Charlotte Griffiths suggested that Harry “seemed like a broken man,” adding, “He made it clear he can’t get a hold of his father. It felt like the only way he could speak to his father or something, that might have been the motivation behind it.”

Notably, she also pointed out that while Prince Harry talked about reconciliation, he did not offer any apology.

“Well, you have to start with saying sorry if you want forgiveness, I would have thought that would open the conversation. But there was no sorry was there? He didn’t seem contrite,” Charlotte said.
