Prince Harry causes media giant to compromise on ‘editorial standards’

Prince Harry’s latest interview with BBC has currently brought the editorial under fire.

The British Broadcast Company has been called out for not putting out the Buckingham Palace point of view despite its long standing position as one of the leading journalist agencies in the world.

In a clarification statement on their website, BBC said: “We failed to properly challenge this and other allegations. This case is ultimately the responsibility of the Home Office and we should have reflected their statement.”

The BBC added that they “should have given the view of Buckingham Palace”, adding: “This was a lapse in our usual high editorial standards.”

This comes days after Buckingham Palace’s statement over Harry’s interview with the outlet: “All of these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion reached on each occasion.”
