Nicole Kidman just revealed that she is open to starring in a show where every TV role she has ever played exists in the same universe.
In a talk with PEOPLE magazine at the premiere of her Hulu series Nine Perfect Strangers in Beverly Hills, California, on Thursday, May 15, the 57-year-old Australian-American actress and film producer shared that she is “up for” a show in which all of her television characters exist in one place.
Kidman said, “That’s hilarious. I’d be up for it. As you know, I’m up for most things. I like to be able to say I’m game. So, I’m always ready to try things.”
She went on to add, “I have a huge passion for what I do. I love doing what I do, and I’ve been incredibly fortunate in my journey, and I’m just always a bit excited. I don’t take any of it for granted. I’m like, ‘Okay, thank you. Thank you, universe.’”
Moving forward, the Oscar winner was asked why she wanted to play the character of guru Masha Damitrichenko in Nine Perfect Strangers.
“Because she’s fun and powerful, and [castmate] Maisie [Richardson-Sellers] said something like, ‘Masha sharks it.’ So I was like, ‘What does that mean?’ But I think that means she’s a shark. She comes in, and I don’t get to play sharks very often,” Kidman answered.
It is essential to note that the second season of Nine Perfect Strangers will start premiering on Hulu from May 21.
