Legendary Pictures is developing a live-action Street Fighter film. While no cast has been officially confirmed, reports say it is eyeing some A-listers.

According to Deadline, they are Andrew Koji, Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, and Roman Reigns.

These stars have been in talks to appear in the film. But it’s unclear which role they will be eyed for, and this does not mean that they will end up in the movie.

Details about the project are also scant, and the exact release date is reportedly uncertain.

The story of bringing Street Fighter to the big screen is dotted with setbacks. In 2023, Legendary confirmed it would make a film on the hit game series after acquiring rights from Capcom.

The studio teamed YouTube stars and Talk to Me-directing duo Danny and Michael Philippou to work as directors.

But a year later, a report in THR painted a grim picture of the live-action movie’s progress as Michael parted ways with the project.

Street Fighter was without a director until February 2025. Then Kitao Sakurai came on board to helm the film.

Legendary initially announced that Street Fighter would be released on March 20, 2026, and according to the report, the studio is working to match that date.
