Meghan Markle was reportedly left out of the crucial royal meeting deciding her and Prince Harry’s future.
A new documentary titled Megxit: Inside the Sandringham Summit has unveiled some shocking secrets.
As per the documentary, the Duchess of Sussex was not allowed to join the crucial meeting called by the late Queen Elizabeth.
In order to discuss what Harry and Meghan’s future would look like, Elizabeth called a meeting at her private Norfolk estate.
Royal expert Emily Andrews claims in the documentary, “They all knew that Meghan was probably smarter, brighter, had a more linear view of where she and Harry were going and what they wanted and they probably thought they would get a better outcome with just Harry.”
Harry and Meghan, who tied the knot in 2018, stepped down from their royal roles in 2020. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex then moved to California after leaving royal family.
It is worth mentioning that Meghan previously talked about her being not allowed in the meeting.
Speaking in Harry & Meghan Netflix documentary, the Duchess of Sussex said, “Imagine a conversation, a roundtable discussion, about the future of your life, when the stakes are this high, and you as the mom, the wife, and the target in many regards aren’t invited to have a seat at the table.”
Currently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live in their Montecito mansion with their two children: Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
