Kanye West has issued custody threats to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
West’s attorney sent a legal letter to Kardashian on Friday after taking notice of North’s presence at Monday’s Met Gala.
“Reports indicate that North was left unattended in a vehicle during portions of the event, posing risks to her safety,” the Yeezy founder claimed in the letter, countering the reality star’s earlier concerns that West can potentially put his kids in “situations that are chaotic.”
The father-of-four then doubled down on the risks that were associated with his preteen daughter getting exposed to “significant media attention.”
The letter pointed out that Kardashian “published or [authorised] the publication of North’s images and videos on social media platforms” after the gala despite his “explicit objection to his children’s presence on such platforms.”
West demanded that the SKIMS founder “cease and desist from actions that violate” the rapper’s “parental rights, exploit his children, and breach the joint custody agreement established” in their divorce settlement.
West reiterated that he allegedly has been “denied meaningful access to his children,” once again claiming that he “has had no contact” with his son Saint, 9, “in 2025.”
He raised that his interactions with North, 11, daughter Chicago, 7, and son Psalm, 6, also “have been unreasonably restricted.”
The Heartless rapper has demanded that The Kardashians star stop posting or authorising the publication of photos and videos of the kids and remove all content that was uploaded without his authorisation.
He also wants her to stop involving the children in public events without his consent.
West has also demanded “unimpeded access” to his four kids and “immediate in-person visitation.”
West, whose divorce from Kardashian was finalised in November 2022, has warned that he will “seek sole legal and/or physical custody” if the ex-wife fails to comply with his conditions.
Meanwhile, sources close to Kardashian told TMZ that West was never denied access to the kids and he rarely asks to meet them.
“Kanye can see the kids anytime he wants; there are no limitations, but Kim is very careful also to not put them in situations that are chaotic. Protecting her kids [comes] first and foremost,” the source told the outlet.
