Prince Harry and Meghan Markle currently have a 21-million-dollar estate in the US, their Montecito mansion to call their home.

However, the roots of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex begin from Nottingham Cottage, where Meghan first moved in after her romance with Harry took a serious path.

HELLO! Magazine had a conversation with Tommy Kebbson, an interior designer of Kebbson & Co, who deemed their old home as “sweet and practical.”

He stated, “The most important thing is that we love our own home, love and cherish individually, which is so lovely to see Meghan and Harry embrace their own individual style here.”

“I think it’s really warming to see them embrace such a sweet and practical kitchen. I think their colour choice is lovely and timeless, it really speaks to a timeless English heritage combination and minimalist American,” Tommy added.

Some rare photographs have also given insights into the cottage, as the Nottingham kitchen can be seen in Harry and Meghan’s Netflix series, a modest-sized area with a the black and white tiled floor, white kitchen cupboards and light grey work surfaces.

Another picture on their show was of the former royal couple’s dogs on the sofa in their small living space with two light-coloured sofas positioned close together on either wall.

Additionally, a very rare glimpse into the garden area was also given where Prince Harry could be seen walking on a stone patio in front of a white picket fence.

After Meghan Markle and Prince Harry moved to the stateside in 2020, two years after stepping down from royal duties, they acquired their impeccable Montecito mansion, surrounded by celebrity neighbours, where they currently live.
