Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs reportedly reached out to his former personal assistant when his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura first sued him in 2023.

The ex-personal assistant—the second of three women testifying against him—opened up on Friday about a “triggering” phone call she received shortly after his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura had sued him in November 2023.

“It was just so triggering to see that,” said the assistant, who is identifying anonymously in court by the pseudonym “Mia.”

Mia said she at first was elated to hear from D-Roc, one of Combs’ former bodyguards, when he reached out to her days after Ventura’s lawsuit until she realised he was at the Bad Boy Records founder’s home and trying to reconnect her with her former boss.

Mia claimed she spiraled into panic mode when she saw the rapper’s incoming phone call shortly after.

“I threw my phone as far as it would go behind the couch, and I ran outside,” she recalled.

The ex-assistant said she felt “terrified, threatened, scared, nervous” and “wanted to play dumb” so she could figure out a game plan to protect herself.

“I didn’t want my life to be in danger,” Mia said in the Manhattan court.

During the Friday hearing, Combs’ lawyer Brian Steel also launched cross-examination by inquiring the woman about several dozen posts she made about Combs, Ventura, and other people and events in their circle.

Steel confronted Mia about a comedy video she posted on Combs’ birthday in 2013, showing Combs pretend as a doctor helping Mia give birth to a baby.

“Shout out to my mentor,” she wrote, referring to Combs, “Thank you for always letting me give birth to my dreams.”

“Here, you have posted on your personal account your rapist delivering the baby,” Steel said, to which Mia said the photos were a facade to keep up with the trend of showing their best lives only.

Mia previously claimed that she was repeatedly sexually assaulted in her employment from 2009 to 2017 with Bad Boy Entertainment.
