Blake Lively is thrilled over her “unhinged” new project.
Her film, Another Simple Favor, a sequel to the 2018 movie, A Simple Favor reached the number one spot globally on Prime Video.
The 37-year-old Gossip Girl alum took to her official Instagram to upload a story, just a day after she referred to her legal battle against It Ends With Us co-star, Justin Baldoni, as “intense.”
Sharing an image of herself along with her 2025 film co-star, Anna Kendrick, Lively captioned her upload, “Thank you all for watching @asimplefavor.”
‘We’re all so proud of this absolutely bonkers, unhinged movie,” she further added, expressing gratitude by writing, “Thank you, thank you. We’re so grateful to you.”
The success of the film comes after its promotions were rather overshadowed by The Age of Adaline star being caught up in her legal battle with Baldoni.
Additionally, there were many rumors stating that Lively did not get along with her Another Simple Favor co-star, Kendrick.
In the recently released film, Stephanie Smothers, portrayed by Kendrick and Emily Nelson, played by Lively reunite in Italy, for Emily’s opulent wedding to a wealthy Italian, only for the celebration to be interrupted by murder.
