Milo Manheim just gushed over Ariana Grande, Elizabeth “Liz” Gillies and their friendship.
Speaking to PEOPLE magazine, the actor who stars alongside the Dynasty actress in the off-Broadway production, Little Shop of Horrors, he said Liz and Ariana’s friendship makes “sense.”
Milo also revealed that he met Ariana when she showed up to support Liz, to whom she has been close, for years, rising to fame together through the hit Nickelodeon series, Victorious.
“They’re both such sweeties,” the 24-year-old said, adding, “I mean, I’ve spent so much time with Liz and she’s like family now at this point. We’ve been through so much together. I’ve learned so much from her, and the more I get to know her, the more incredible I think she is.”
“Ariana came to see the show,” Milo recalled.
He continued, “It makes such sense that they are friends. They’re both such kind souls, both such theater girlies. Like it was, it was really nice to see Ariana there supporting Liz, and I could see them just being like little girls again enjoying being in the theater.”
When Ariana Grande showed up to support Liz Gillies, the 31-year-old took to her official Instagram account and uploaded a carousel of pictures, where one featured the Wicked star giving her a potted plant.
“THANK YOU FOR COMING TO THE SHOP, MY DINGUS!!” she captioned the post.
