Prince William and Sophie are said to have developed a close bond, especially after King Charles and Princess Catherine went for cancer treatment.

Kate Middleton was not with her husband when he arrived to attend the  show.

While King Charles continues to perform royal duties in the UK and abroad as his cancer treatment remains underway, the Princess of Wales is making a gradual return to royal engagements.

She recently visited Scotland to attend the naming ceremony of a warship where she was joined by her husband.

Duchess Sophie, the wife of Prince Edward, often represents King Charles on important occasions in the UK and abroad.

According to the show’s website, “Every year, for 3 days in June, the best in entertainment, agriculture, shopping and competition can be found at the Royal Cornwall Show.”
