Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager are preparing to reunite after four months.
On the Wednesday, May 28 episode of Today with Jenna & Friends, Kotb will be back with her erstwhile co-host Hager. She will reclaim the same position which she had before leaving.
On Tuesday, May 27, the 43-year-old host declared that Kotb would be the surprise guest on Wednesday’s show after joking the guest would be a former basketball star-turned-bestselling author.
Hager said, “For one day only, Hoda Kotb is back!” and went on to note that she is coming back to Today as she is “announcing her new project”.
“We feel so excited. I was texting her at 5:30 this morning, as one does. I can’t wait,” she added.
Notably, Kotb’s return on the show will be her first appearance since she left the show Today with Hoda & Jenna in January 2025.
Also, on the May 28 show, Kotb will make it to the show during the first two hours to talk about her project with her old colleagues, including Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, Craig Melvin and more.
