Machine Gun Kelly knows how to balance his work and dad duties especially when his baby daughter needs him most.
In a recent chat with E! News, the EMO Girl singer made first ever-red carpet appearance at the 2025 American Music Awards on May 26, since welcoming his daughter with ex-fiancee Megan Fox in March.
However, the rapper told the outlet that he would leave the ceremony just after walking the red carpet as his little one is sick.
“Baby’s great,” he said of his daughter. “She has a little bit of a fever, so I’m gonna just walk the carpet and go back.”
The proud dad of two said he wanted to be there for his newborn to help her heal, “You know what I mean, and handle my business. Give her my pheromones, and let her heal up,” he noted.
Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, proudly announcing his girl dad duties said, “I was born to be a dad. Yeah, it’s my purpose.”
It is pertinent to mention that he is also father to 15-year-old daughter Casie whom he shares with ex-Emma Cannon.
