Big update in Chris Brown’s assault case

Recently, Chris Brown was arrested in Manchester for an alleged assault of a music producer, Abraham Diaw, in 2023.

The incident happened at Tape nightclub in Mayfair, London. Initially, the R&B musician was denied bail; however, on May 21, the R&B musician’s fortune seemed to change.

A judge, under strict conditions, allowed bail for him. To get out of jail, he must pay €4 million immediately, while the rest, €1 million, he is ordered to pay within the week.

According to the order, the 36-year-old must remain in the UK as the trial is set to continue sometime and hand over the passport to the UK police.

The decision comes as Chris’s world tour, Breezy Bowl XX, is ongoing. The Standard reported that the Sensation singer can honour his dates in Europe, Canada, and the US while leaving his passport to his lawyers.

Chris and Omolulu Akinlolu are charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, and they will face the court on June 20 at Southern Crown Court.
