Nicola Peltz is remembering her late grandmothers Bunny and Gina.
The actress and filmmaker, 30, took to Instagram on Saturday with a heartbreaking tribute to her late grandmothers who passed away in recent years, featuring several photos of them smiling and laughing together.
Nicola then penned a lengthy note to Bunny, who passed away in May 2024 at the age of 95, and Gina, who died on Nicola’s birthday in January 2020.
“In life we have core memories and this is one of my most favorite days I’ve ever lived. They were my best friends, there wasn’t a day I wasn’t with them,” the Transformers: Age of Extinction actress wrote.
She continued: “To my Naunni and my Gina I can’t fathom the thought of not being able to hug you or hear your laugh right now – I just miss you both so much. The farther I get from the day you left Earth scares me because I feel like I get farther from you.”
Addressing the images, Nicola said, “I remember this day so clearly, I got us all matching Dior fancy sneakers and I was so proud to match you both this whole summer.”
Nicola also briefed about what reminded her of the two ladies, saying, “The Kentucky Derby is today and I will never forget watching it on tv with you both every year. I love you both more than anything and think of you every second.”
Nicole continued, “I hope you’re together right now looking after me and I hope I see you soon. To my forever soulmates I more than love you because the word love doesn’t touch how you have made me feel growing up. I felt more than loved and that is what I feel for you both, more than love.”
The emotional tribute comes after her father-in-law David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations, which the couple was visibly absent from.
The couple also snubbed the retired footballer online much like they did on Victoria Beckham’s birthday.
“It’s a dagger to the heart that he hasn’t attended a single one of David’s 50th celebrations – and hurts the whole family including the grandparents and siblings,” a source told The Sun over the weekend.
It has been reported that Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola, 30, are clashing with his younger brother Romeo, 22, over their disapproval of his girlfriend Kim Turnbull, 24.
